Jenna dressed up for a Fancy Nancy party

Jenna went to a friends birthday party. The theme for the party was Fancy Nancy--- so I dressed Jenna up and she looked so cute and fun that I had to take pictures.

Jenna's new look

In November I took Jenna to the dr. for her yearly check up to see how things were going for her growth. Yeap the growth was normal--- 10% in her age but these are my kids in the low growing numbers. While at the dr. they found that she was having a hard time doing the eye exam. So we took her to a pedatric eye dr. and they said she need glasses. So now it is February and we decided to get them for her (Dr. said she didn't need them until Kindergarten for reading and seeing thing far away). However--- as her parents we found she couldn't see thing while driving or things at home. So we got them early and we are glad. She has been so happy to seee things she hasn't been able to. Below are pictures of her in the new glasses. We think these just add to her cuteness--- just hope she doesn't get bossy.

Jenna's fun hairstyles the last couple months

About a year ago (Marie my sister-in-law) told me about a website to give you fun ideas for girls hair. So I have looked at it regularly and found some fun do's for Jenna. She likes to do her hair "cool" so I have fun doing it before she goes to preschool. Below are some of the fun hair styles in the last 2 months. During Valentines it was really fun to make hearts in her hair for the week. The two websites are on my favorite listing if you want to find some fun ones for you girls.

The "3" --James working together--- TROUBLE!!!

Brian's dad come out during the month of January. So Brian told him that he would help him put the back cover on his truck bed. So they warmed up the garage to put it on and our little boy James couldn't be away from his Dad and Grandpa. Below are pictures of James helping.

James found the knife for cutting--- this was quickly taken away from him and replaced with some play construction tools.

My beautiful Amerilus Flower

Brian and the kids know how much I love flowers so they got me this amerilus flower. It was so fun to watch grow. I even put a stick in the pot to mark every couple days to show the kids how much it grew. It was fun and then it was awesome when it blossumed. My mom said that most often you get a couple blossums the 1st year and we got spoiled and got 8 blossums this year. So was cool!!! Below are pictures of it with the kids.

Brian's Christmas Project for me.

Brian enjoys having new construction project to do while he is home during the holidays. So since we weren't traveling to Vernal for Christmas. He decided to finish our kitchen back splash with a tile job he has wanted to do and I loved he did. Since he was trying to switch back to a different sleep time it was nice because he could do this when he woke up early and we slept.

I love his finished work!!! He is wonderful hubby and dad!!! I love you Brian.

Christmas 2009

Our family had a great Christmas at our home in Mona. We had a chance to have the Fleming's gather at our home for this year. (Brian's sister and brother both had new babies that we thought it would be better to be closer for them). Below are just a few pictures of the kids during Christmas.

I got to help with Jenna's preschool Christmas party and we made Reindeer food for each child. This is the letter that was attached to the food we gave to santa's reindeer.

Jenna has learned so much this year in preschool and she wanted to write a letter to Santa. I wrote what she asked me and she wrote her name and James.

Below are pictures of the kids in their new pj's and Jenna beside her present from Santa (Leapster 2 with two games) and James got this green motorbike that just makes noise. The kids were happy and were great for all the present opening of the family.

This year was another new year for us with having our little James older. I didn't have a chance to get names printed on the Christmas stocking. So Christmas Eve night Jenna helped me write names and label them for Santa. These are her labels below.

Below are just fun pictures of James (with his bottle), me (Colleen) with the kids and James just being himself.

Merry Christmas!!!! We had a wonderful 2009!

November 2009 Sibling Pictures

While visiting at home in Vernal for Thanksgiving we had our wonderful brother-in-law Mike take pictures of the kids. We used them for our Christmas cards. Below are their pictures.

Jenna turns #5--- "she is so big now" --- so she thinks

Jenna finally celebrated her #5 birthday. Jenna has a birthday later in the year so it seems like it takes a long time until her birthday. We started the morning with her choice of chocolate muffins. So we put candles in her muffin to blow out. We opened some presents early that morning to have her movie to watch if needed for her party.

Later that afternoon following school we had 10 girls and 1 boy over for a TINKERBELL party. Jenna got an awesome turn out of friends. She was also treated with Grandma Andy and Aunt Dea to help mom with all the party. (THANKS LADIES)

This was the party adgena --- when the kids arrived they got fairy dust (glitter) sprinkled on their cheeks and then they colored Tinkerbell pictures while waiting for the kids to come.

Below are pictures from the fun, busy and exciting day.

Grandma Andy singing songs with them while I got the pin the star on the wand for Tinkerbell.

** After the tinkerbell pin the star on the wand game we did a fairy craft with a clothes pin. This was tricky because we painted with 11 children (CRAZY)

After the craft we opened presents --- Jenna got spoiled rotten and was very happy about her presents.

After the presents we served cupcakes and ice cream.

** Then for the finally part of the party Jenna gave each of the kids a set of Tinkerbell wings and a Pixy stick made into a Star wand. It was so much fun and the kids were so happy. I heard from a couple moms that their kids talked about it and wore the wings for a couple days. This is best result of the party, knowing they had fun.

Below are pictures of Jenna with her Tinkerbell cake.

Later after the crazy party we traveled to Provo to have a birthday dinner with Uncle Jamie/Aunt Dea & Grandma Andy. We went to the Pizza factory and she got SPOILED AGAIN!!! We ordered some awesome breadstickes and they created a pizza in the shape of the #5. She smiled so big and people loved her glittery cheeks. While at the pizza factory we gave Jenna her surprise present for her birthday. (We purchased Disney on Ice with the Princesses tickets for that Saturday).

Playing in the leaves at Aunt Dea & Uncle Jamie's

The 1st part of November Brian's siblings came in town so we visited at Dea a couple of times. Dea & Jamie have a HUGE walnut tree in the front yard and it gives them plenty of leaves and walnuts. So I couldn't resist putting the kids in the leaves for a picture.
