Our veggie garden

Every year Brian and I become sad because our yard starts to freeze and dye. This year our garden wasn't as good as last year (grasshoppers). But we did harvest and enjoy some food from it. We got alot of: cherry tomatoes, small roma tomatoes, and green/yellow/red/black peppers. We enjoy it and have been blessed. Below are pictures of the last picking of our garden. I decided to pick some of the green tomatoes and let them rippen with the brown paper sacks. Our onions were awesome and we are proud of how big they grew. Below are pictures of Jenna with the "HUGE" onions.

James ---- ODDs and END pictures

James is changing every day. He is still learning the walking thing. He will walk behind a walking toy but he still doesn't quite get the standing up tall and moving the feet. He is going to get it soon. He is the laughter and smile of our mornings with the 2 cute bottom teeth and the 4 top teeth popping through. He loves his big sister Jenna. He loves his Daddy and loves to be everywhere he is when he is around. We love you JAMES PARKER!!!

My Dad (Grandpa Kynaston) was taking care of James while my Mom and I were doing Rasberry Jam. We looked over and both of them were sleeping for an afternoon nap.

James loves to eat food and bananas is among one of the favorites for his breakfast meal.

Mona had FRUIT FLIES!!!

This year in Mona we have had a HUGE problem with fruit flies all over in our home. We had them in the bathrooms, laundry and kitchen. The fruit flies were so bad that we had a hard time sitting at our kitchen table to eat so we ate a couple days outside on our deck. A couple ladies did some research on how to get rid of fruit flies so these were our traps. Below are picture of my traps with the flies eating the fruit and apple cider vinger. The apple cider vinger worked the best but adding some liquid dishsoap helped even more. Enjoy the GROOSE pictures of our catches of the days. (Oh, the bowl traps with apple cider vinger combo dish soap ---- helps to suck the flies up with a vacuum as they eat around the edges of the bowl.)

Payson Onions Day visit

We came home from our camping trip and our old town of Payson was doing their yearly celebration. We visited friends and got a special treat to see Chris & Brookes family while there.

We also let Jenna go on the carrisol ride. She was so so so happy. We would have put James on it too but he is a whimp and freeked out the last time we did this with him.

While visiting with her cousin Megan, Jenna decided she need a cool tattoo sticker like Megan.

James #1 Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY #1 JAMES PARKER!!!!!
We traveled from the Dr. appointment in Salt Lake to Vernal then camping. We pulled our camp trailer through the crazy busy city of Salt Lake and then to Vernal --- long round about trip but camping was worth it. Below are pictures of James opening his presents and his cake. (Thanks Grandma Kynaston for making the Mickey Mouse cake---- James loved it and loved eating more and more). We went camping with Grandma & Grandpa Fleming, Grandma & Grandpa Kynaston and Aunt Shawnie & Uncle Obern. It was fun to ride 4 wheelers and the Rhino's. Thanks for a fun birthday

James Primary Children visit

James has been our little sick boy!!! In March her came down with RSV and we were able to control it with the use of a nebulizer at home. But he would get better and then only stay well for about 1-2 weeks. In June we took him to a children pediatrian and he was wonderful. Dr Khochel has done wonders for James. Since Dr. Khochel had seen him in June had 3-4 more cases of the RSV problems. Then in July he decided that with our wonderful Kynaston family history of Allergies and Asthma it was in the best need for James to have more testing done. We called and scheduled an appointment with the Pulmonlogy department at Primary Children's but we couldn't see them for 2 months. So we scheduled his appointment and it happened to be on his birthday. So it worked get for a day off for Brian and a celebration and do of spoiling for James. Below are pictures of his visit at Primary Children's.

(James in his new car seat our way to Salt Lake)

(James loved the toys built into the walls but he was bothered that he could take the balls out of the toys)

Jenna came with us and loved it --- they had a coloring area that she enjoyed but didn't have time to really color.

Brian holding James while they connected the machines to him. They needed to do a sweat test on him to see if he had Cystic Fibrosis. (They did this to make sure because kids who are sick alot tend to test positive for this.) Well results came back and he was negative and is okay. Below are more pictures of Brian and him getting prepped for the tests.

This was a cute giraffee ex-ray machine they had in the room. Everything was decorated and geared for children. IT WAS SO SO COOL!!!

Jenna loved playing with the toys that helped distract the kids from crying or being scared.

Pictures above were of James getting everything done for the sweat testing.

After the sweat testing James had to have 5ml of blood taken to test for allergies. He didn't give enough blood in the 1st hand so they had to do the other hand. The blue wraps are from the blood draws. After he was finished with the testing he got 2presents for the 2 pocks.

Jenna also got a prize for being a good sport and helping James stop crying while they took him blood.

Brian with Jenna & James at the Train Station in Heber City. After our appointment at Primary Children we traveled home to Vernal for celebration with James and my Dad's birthdays. We stopped at a fun place for James and he loved the trains. These are pictures of us with James. Jenna loved the trains too---- but ohhhhh it was so busy.

PRIMARY CHILDREN'S WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR US AND JAMES. HE WAS SUCH A BRAVE LITTLE BOY AND HE MADE EVERYONE SMILE BECAUSE HE SMILED AT THEM EVEN WHEN THEY HAD TO TEST HIM. JAMES IS A SWEET LOVING---STUBBORN LITTLE BOY.

DR. UTCHITA WAS AWESOME AND SO GOOD AT EXPLAINING AND TAKING TIME FOR OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. JAMES TEST RESULTS FOR THE BLOOD CAME BACK OK BUT IT DOES SHOW SOME SIGNS OF AN ALLERGY BUT WE CAN'T TEST FOR THOSE ALLERGIES UNTIL LATER ON IN HIS LIFE. BUT FOR RIGHT NOW THEY HAVE HIM TAKING SINGULIAR AND PULICORT EACH DAY TO HELP PREVENT ANY MORE RSV PROBLEMS. IT HAS NOW BEEN ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND JAMES HASN'T HAD A FLAIR UP AND BEEN THE HEALTHIEST SINCE MARCH.

THANKS DR. KHOCHEL & DR. KELLER (DR. KHOCHEL ASS. DR.) AND DR. UTCHITA. MOST OF ALL THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYER FOR JAMES WHILE HE WAS SICK THESE PAST MONTHS!!

Jenna Preschool --- 4 years and 4 days a week

Jenna started going to here 2nd year of preschool. Last year was amazing for her and the summertime she missed going to school. These are pictures of her doing the smiling on her 1st day of school. (FUNNY---- last year she started school 15 minutes later than this year but I thinking I have the school thing ok, well I dropped her off 15 minutes late for her 1st day of preschool this year. Her teacher smiled and then laughed at her crazy mom.)

Wind Kite Festival in Spanish Fork

As a last minute thing on a Saturday afternoon we took the kids to the Wind Kite Festival in Spanish Fork. It was towards the end of the event so we missed some fun things but we had a chance to see some cool kites and make some for the kids. Below are pictures of one of the cool kite flying shows that was at the festival.
