James Primary Children visit

James has been our little sick boy!!! In March her came down with RSV and we were able to control it with the use of a nebulizer at home. But he would get better and then only stay well for about 1-2 weeks. In June we took him to a children pediatrian and he was wonderful. Dr Khochel has done wonders for James. Since Dr. Khochel had seen him in June had 3-4 more cases of the RSV problems. Then in July he decided that with our wonderful Kynaston family history of Allergies and Asthma it was in the best need for James to have more testing done. We called and scheduled an appointment with the Pulmonlogy department at Primary Children's but we couldn't see them for 2 months. So we scheduled his appointment and it happened to be on his birthday. So it worked get for a day off for Brian and a celebration and do of spoiling for James. Below are pictures of his visit at Primary Children's.

(James in his new car seat our way to Salt Lake)

(James loved the toys built into the walls but he was bothered that he could take the balls out of the toys)

Jenna came with us and loved it --- they had a coloring area that she enjoyed but didn't have time to really color.

Brian holding James while they connected the machines to him. They needed to do a sweat test on him to see if he had Cystic Fibrosis. (They did this to make sure because kids who are sick alot tend to test positive for this.) Well results came back and he was negative and is okay. Below are more pictures of Brian and him getting prepped for the tests.

This was a cute giraffee ex-ray machine they had in the room. Everything was decorated and geared for children. IT WAS SO SO COOL!!!

Jenna loved playing with the toys that helped distract the kids from crying or being scared.

Pictures above were of James getting everything done for the sweat testing.

After the sweat testing James had to have 5ml of blood taken to test for allergies. He didn't give enough blood in the 1st hand so they had to do the other hand. The blue wraps are from the blood draws. After he was finished with the testing he got 2presents for the 2 pocks.

Jenna also got a prize for being a good sport and helping James stop crying while they took him blood.

Brian with Jenna & James at the Train Station in Heber City. After our appointment at Primary Children we traveled home to Vernal for celebration with James and my Dad's birthdays. We stopped at a fun place for James and he loved the trains. These are pictures of us with James. Jenna loved the trains too---- but ohhhhh it was so busy.

PRIMARY CHILDREN'S WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR US AND JAMES. HE WAS SUCH A BRAVE LITTLE BOY AND HE MADE EVERYONE SMILE BECAUSE HE SMILED AT THEM EVEN WHEN THEY HAD TO TEST HIM. JAMES IS A SWEET LOVING---STUBBORN LITTLE BOY.

DR. UTCHITA WAS AWESOME AND SO GOOD AT EXPLAINING AND TAKING TIME FOR OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. JAMES TEST RESULTS FOR THE BLOOD CAME BACK OK BUT IT DOES SHOW SOME SIGNS OF AN ALLERGY BUT WE CAN'T TEST FOR THOSE ALLERGIES UNTIL LATER ON IN HIS LIFE. BUT FOR RIGHT NOW THEY HAVE HIM TAKING SINGULIAR AND PULICORT EACH DAY TO HELP PREVENT ANY MORE RSV PROBLEMS. IT HAS NOW BEEN ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND JAMES HASN'T HAD A FLAIR UP AND BEEN THE HEALTHIEST SINCE MARCH.

THANKS DR. KHOCHEL & DR. KELLER (DR. KHOCHEL ASS. DR.) AND DR. UTCHITA. MOST OF ALL THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYER FOR JAMES WHILE HE WAS SICK THESE PAST MONTHS!!
